Bailey
Age 92, of East Canton, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012 in Altercare of Louisville. He was born Dec, 27, 1919 in Bethesda, Ohio to the late Emory and Alice (Wilcox) Bailey. Red was an East Canton area resident for 52 years and was a World War II Army veteran. He retired from the Operating Engineers Local #18 and was a member of the East Canton Church of God. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Charles Bailey; one sister, Mildred Brill.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice J. 'Betty' (Taylor) to whom he was married 70 years; three daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia and Danny Lazar of Canton, Carolyn Mathis of Leesburg, Fla., Charlotte Bailey of East Canton; three grandchildren, Wendy Albertson, Jill (John) Guiffre, Celeste (Craig) Smith; three great-grandchildren, Matthew Casey, Erika and Johnny Guiffre.
Funeral services will be Tuesday April 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the East Canton Church of God with Pastor Michael Jones officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
