Martin Bertman Obituary
age 74, of North Canton, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2012. He was born Nov. 26, 1937 in Manhattan, N.Y. to the late Chaim and Goldie (Mandel) Bertman. As a professor of Philosophy, he taught and lectured in New York, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Israel and Italy. He was an accomplished artist and painter.
Survived by his wife of 20 years, Marilena; daughter and son-in-law, Abra and Gys Wuite of Amsterdam; son, Chaim Bertman of San Francisco; grandson, Max; brother, Dr. Stanley and Karen Bertman of North Canton; stepchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are Tuesday (TODAY) 2 p.m. at Arnold Funeral Home with Rabbi A.J. Kushner officiating. Final resting place is North Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Aultman Compassionate Care Center.
