Carl E. Eisenbrei
Massillon - Carl E. Eisenbrei, 76, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012 having never fully recovered from a stroke suffered Nov. 2011. He is now in the hands of a just God who 'is a rewarder of them who diligently seek him' Heb 11:6. Carl had many friends and he will be remembered for his good deeds and generous spirit. He was a life-long resident of Massillon, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired from East Ohio Gas Company. Carl was inducted into the Caddy Hall of Fame in 2007, caddying at Congress Lake for almost sixty years.
Preceded in death by his parents, Laverne and Edna Mae Eisenbrei and a brother; survived by two sons.
Carl was a faithful Christian attending at the Brown Street Church of Christ in Akron where services will be held on Wednesday at 12 Noon, 1835 Brown Street, Akron, Ohio 44301, with visitation 11 a.m. until time of service. Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with military honors.
