DeVere E. Engelbach
age 78, died Tuesday after a long illness. He was a life resident of Canton, 1952 graduate of Timken Vocational High School, and attended Kent State University. DeVere was Vice President of Belden Brick at the time of his retirement where he had enjoyed working with the Belden and Hartung families. He was a member of the Institute of Managerial Accountants and was a Naval Reserve veteran.
Survived by his wife, Nancy Engelbach of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Michele Engelbach of Columbus and Kirk and Kim Engelbach of Cleveland; five grandchildren, Casandra, Marc, Abbey, Kris, and Kody Engelbach; great-grandson, Castor DeVere Engelbach; sister and brother-in-law, Verona and Michael Ryder of Napierville, Illinois; and a brother and sister-in-law, Arden and Pat Engelbach of Columbus.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the Lamiell Funeral Home with Pastor David Warren officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 10-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Aultman Hospice or the First Southern Baptist Church in North Canton. Condolences may be made to:
