Roebelle Ann Crawford Obituary
Roebelle Ann Crawford
79 years of age, passed away in the early morning of Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 surrounded by her grandchildren. Originally from Pennsylvania she relocated to Greentown and was employed as a nurse at St. Luke Nursing Home until her retirement. She enjoyed working with the elderly and touched the lives of many. An active member of the Nazarene church for many years, Roebelle enjoyed working with the youth in such roles as youth director and Bible school director and she also served as the missionary president. Her greatest love in life was her grandchildren and she had a very special relationship with each one of them. Her family will always remember her ability to take the simplest things in life and make them memorable to all. Whether it be playing games or just sitting on the porch, she knew how to make it fun. She especially loved baking and candy making during the holidays.
Survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert J.; daughter, Jill (Mark) Collins, of Louisville; grandchildren, Jennifer Aller, Andrea Cuerbo, Michael Rossetti, Megan Snyder, Aaron Caley, Andrew Caley; and four great-grandchildren; and very special caregiver and friend, Cathy Evans and sister, Alice Kent. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jamie Caley.
Calling hours will be Wednesday (TONIGHT) 6-8 p.m. at the Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel, 801 Pittsburg Ave. N.W. Pastor Harold Bradley will officiate the funeral service on Thursday at 1 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the World Mission Fund through Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 2780
Canton Road, Uniontown, OH 44685.
