Age 49, went home unexpectedly to be with the Lord on Feb. 1, 2013. She was born in Huntsville, Ala., on July 23, 1963, while her parents were stationed at Red Stone Arsenal. The family moved back to Ohio in 1965. Ginny attended Glen Oak High School where she played saxophone in the band and graduated in 1982. She was active in the Explorers Program at the Stark County Sheriff Dept. She moved to Florida and in 1990; her daughter Jessica was born in Kissimmee. They returned to Ohio in 1993. She studied psychology at Malone College for a few years. Ginny worked for Diebold and most recently, Ginny was an insurance agent for Homesite Insurance. Some of her most beloved hobbies were baking, scrapbooking family pictures, gardening, horses and being with family and friends. She was a member of High Mill Church of the Resurrection. She loved the Lord and it showed through everything she did. She was a supporter of the Girl Scouts and Lake High School Band. She will be missed dearly by anyone who had the blessing of meeting her.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessica of Akron; parents, Timothy and Janet Beistel of Canton; siblings: Peggy Beistel of Canton, Jeff (Ramona) Beistel of Magnolia, Mark Beistel of Canton, and David (Elizabeth) Beistel of Florence, Ala.; nieces and nephew: Miranda, Makayla, Mckenzie and William; best friends including Vickie Seibert, Janet Nutter, Shirley Hall, Marybeth Hall; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Calling hours are Thursday 5-8 p.m. at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville and one hour prior to services in the church on Friday (10-11 a.m.). Funeral services are Friday at 11 a.m. at High Mill Church of the Resurrection with Pastor Chuck Schumacher officiating. Final resting place is St. Jacobs Cemetery in North Canton. Memorials may be made to High Mill Church.
