Andrea Domotor
41, of Canton passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013. Andrea was born on Sept. 22, 1971 to Tamas Szeverenyi and Rozalia Papp in Bekescsaba, Hungary. Andrea was a registered nurse in Hungary, and immigrated to the United States in 1996 where she was completing her degree at Stark State College as a physical therapy assistant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tibor Domotor, of Akron. To the many friends who knew and loved Andrea, she was known by all as a very special and beautiful woman whose heart was filled with love, life, and kindness. Andrea was truly the essence of strength, courage, and grace. She was nicknamed 'Iron Lady' by the staff at Cleveland Clinic. Andrea loved her family above all.
Andrea is survived by her loving parents, Tamas and Rozalia of Hungary; her beloved children, Tibor, Tommy, and Isabella; her sister, Rose Dobbins, all of Canton; her brothers, Steve (Kriszti) and Sandor (Klara) of Hungary, and Peter (Hanna) of England; nieces, Sophia, Francesca, and Sara; and nephews, Henry and Ede; and her devoted companion and best friend, Lawrence Antonelli of Canton.
The family would like to send special thanks to the Cleveland Clinic for the supportive care given to Andrea and her family. Also a special thanks to the school, families, and Parish of St. Michael for their generosity, love, and support.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 at 1 p.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 3431 St. Michael Blvd NW in Canton. Friends may call Friday from 12-1 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made through the Domotorchildrentrust fund Facebook page created by the St. Michael Archangel Catholic School or any PNC Bank Branch.
