Michael Henry
age 65, of Carrollton, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at Aultman Hospital in Canton. He was born March 12, 1948, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Henry Otto and Marie (Goble) Silcott. Michael was a machinist with Hall Machine in Carrollton. He has lived in Carrollton for 32 years, coming from Waverly, Ohio. He went to trade school for machines in the navy. Michael enjoyed his 1971 Ford Mustang Mach I Cobra Jet. he enjoyed going to car shows. He also enjoyed woodworking. Michael was a devout Christian and belonged the Carrollton Baptist Temple. Besides his hobbies, Michael loved spending time with his family. He was a navy veteran during the Vietnam war.
Survivors include his fiancee', Cindy Sarver of Carrollton; a daughter, Michelle Silcott of Carrollton; two brothers, Kevin (Brenda) Silcott and Randy (Jenny) Silcott, both of Waverly, Ohio; a sister, Debora (Michael) Frost of Chillicothe; and two grandchildren, Luke and K'Dyn. Preceding him in death was his parents; a brother, Eddie Silcott; and a sister, Joyce Campbell.
Calling hours for Michael will be Monday, Feb. 3, 2014 at the Allmon Dugger Cotton Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be at the funeral home Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014 with Pastor David Powell officiating. Burial will be at Greensburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Carrollton Baptist Temple.
