Age 83, of Waynesburg, passed away Wednesday Nov. 12, 2014 unexpectedly in his home. He was born Oct. 28, 1931 in Bittinger, Md. to the late Norman Lee and Pearl C. (Fazenbaker) Bittinger. He retired from Sugardale Foods in 1983 after more than 30 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister; great- niece, Heidi Durst; and dear friend, Helen E. Dobransky.
He is survived by dear friend, Nancy Maxheimer of Massillon; niece and spouse, Rita and Marvin Durst of Waynesburg; great-niece and spouse, Janis and Tom Moore of Minerva; great-nephew, Clint Durst; great-great niece and nephew, Justin Moore and Casey Jones.
Funeral services will be Tuesday Nov. 18, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Kreighbaum- Sanders Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received on Tuesday two hours before services (11-1 p.m.). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
