Bridget Anderson Obituary

Bridget Anderson of Delta passed away at her home on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013. She was 94 years old.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
Bridget Rupp was born on Aug. 30, 1918, in Hays, Kan., to John Jr. and Mary (Graff) Rupp. She spent her childhood in Denver and attended East High School in Denver.
Bridget married the love of her life, Frank A. Anderson Jr., on Nov. 9, 1936, in Golden, and to this union two children were born.
Bridget was a homemaker. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Evergreen, and St. Michael's Catholic Church in Delta. She enjoyed crafts, painting and playing bingo. She was an extremely energetic person.
Prior to moving to Delta six years ago, she had lived in Evergreen for 60 years on the Anderson ranch.
Among survivors are her son and daughter-in-law James and Rosemary Anderson of Delta. She is also survived by four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank A. Anderson; and a daughter Merle O'Donnell.
