Nancy Reynolds Obituary

Nancy Alta Reynolds passed away peacefully on April 2, 2013, at the age of 81.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ted, of 60 years; four children; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Nancy was born in Escanaba, Mich., and enjoyed the great outdoors while growing up. She eventually attended and graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in nursing. While at U of M, she met and married Ted. After some early years of relocating, they settled in Evergreen with their four children and made this their home since 1962.
After raising her children, Nancy worked as a nurse for both the state of Colorado and the Jefferson County school system for more than 30 years.
Nancy was an avid reader, a member of the Knit-Wits charity quilting club and a founding member of the Lutheran Church of the Cross. She enjoyed RV traveling, skiing and golf, and went on many adventures with her husband, most notably their annual trek to Arizona to watch the Rockies during spring training.
A memorial to celebrate Nancy's life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at the Lutheran Church of the Cross.

Dear Ted and family, I just heard about Nancy's passing and want to extend my sincere sympathy and love to you. Even though we hadn't communicated for some time Nancy and I always had a close feeling for one another. I will always remember some New Year's Eve parties we shared many, many years ago. Thinking of you Ted. Sincerely,
Doris Slater

Our Dear Nancy was like a sister to us. Cal is Ted's brother, and we have traveled, played, and laughed together for all our married lives. Nancy was the bright star, always with a smile and a ready hug. We have so many wonderful memories of all our trips and travels to see them, and them to see all the family here. God Bless you, Nancy, as we know he has.
