One of his passions was music - specifically singing. Previously he sang with the Evergreen Chorale and the choir at Evergreen Lutheran Church. He was also an active member of Dorchester Presbyterian Church during his time in South Carolina, serving as an elder and singing with the choir.
His other passion was skiing, and he loved skiing in the Rockies, France, Switzerland or wherever there was powder.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Jan. 19, 2014, at Evergreen Lutheran Church, 5980 Highway 73.
The family asks that any memorial contributions be made to Mt. Evans Hospice, 3081 Bergen Peak Drive, Evergreen, CO 80439; or to Evergreen Lutheran Church, 5980 Highway 73, Evergreen, CO 80439.
