Ben "Butch" Baker passed away on Monday, Aug. 28, 2017, at the age of 64.
Ben was born to Millie and Benjamin Baker on June 17, 1953, in Denver. He grew up as one of five children along North Turkey Creek and attended Evergreen High School.
Ben owned and worked for Mountain Valley Electric as a master electrician and later worked as a state inspector. He was an entrepreneur, and owned and ran BG's Lounge in Aspen Park, Mountain Valley Cleaners in Conifer and Mountain Valley Lighting.
He moved with his wife, Christine, to South Carolina and enjoyed 10 years at the base of the Smoky Mountains.
A patient and kind man, Ben was always willing to help anyone. His grandchildren loved taking their broken toys to him to be fixed, and his sons knew that dad's help was only a phone call away. He will be missed.
A celebration of life for Ben Baker will be held on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017.  Please join us at 21100 N. Turkey Creek Road, Morrison, from 3 to 6 p.m. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate Ben's life.
