On Sept, 28, 2017, Kenneth Robert Cook died from his two-year fight with cancer. 
Born Sept. 30, 1952, to Mildred Jeanne and John Cook in Borea, Ohio, he joined his brother John M. Cook to a life of fishing and boating, which was his passion to the end. 
Ken moved to Colorado in the mid '70s and  became employed with IREA of Conifer and resided in Bailey. He was an avid sportsman of hunting, fishing, softball and skiing. 
He leaves his wife, Gail M. McKenzie; son Cody Ryan Cook; step-daughter Jaime Crawford; and stepson Ryan M. Ihrig. He also leaves nephew Michael and niece Christine along with many, many friends.
Celebration of life will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 27, 2017, at The Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park.
