Marshall P. Foster, 88, died peacefully at home on Dec. 22, 2017.
Marshall retired after 23 years as an Army officer. He served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Toni Foster; his sons Larry (Palmer, Alaska), Gary (Fairbanks, Alaska), Michael (Eagle River, Alaska) and Steven (Evergreen); brothers Richard and Larry Foster (Lansing, Mich.); seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Marshall's funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 12, 2018, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Evergreen, and burial will be at 1:15 p.m. Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
