Norman Richard "Rick" Johnson, age 69, passed away on Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, at his home in Morrison with his beloved wife, Marcella, by his side.
He was born Jan. 16, 1949, to Norman "Johnny" and Dorothy "Dottie" (Nehrmeyer) Johnson in Denver.
Rick was a hard worker who enjoyed his job as a supervisor in the sheet metal industry and had many hobbies that included welding, wood working and had a passion for "Rickifying" cars.
His laughter was infectious and his smile bright. He had a great love for the Lord, his family and friends. He was baptized, confirmed and served as an elder in the Lutheran Church. 
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Marcella (Wandersee) Johnson; his son, Darin (Jennifer) Johnson; stepchildren, Sheila (Donny) Farneth, Sherri (Scott) McDaniel and Richie (Jennifer) Nethery; his grandchildren, Evan, Ryan, Dan, Joe, Luke, Sam, Micaela and Malia; his brothers, Mark (Anne) Johnson and Dennis (Lori) Johnson; and his nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Mount Hope Lutheran Church, 30571 Chestnut Drive, Evergreen. A reception will follow.
