Timothy Glath, 54, a resident of Evergreen for 13 years, passed away on July 10, 2013. He was born in Oil City, Pa., and grew up in New Orleans, where he graduated from Holy Cross High School and Louisiana Tech University, earning a degree in chemical engineering.

He subsequently accepted a position with Mobil Oil Corp., where he became international marketing manager, living in Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong. He then became president of Mobil Oil Guam and Micronesia, his last position before retirement. He was a long-time member of the University Club of Denver.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Marie Mayer Glath; son Colin Glath and daughter Arielle Glath. Other surviving family members include sisters Kathie Maugle of Pittsburgh, Pa., Janet Jacob of Laguna Niguel, Calif., Dee Sisk of Vienna, W.V., and brother Ken Glath of Vienna, W.V.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4291 Evergreen Parkway, Evergreen.
A memorial fund has been established for the benefit of his wife and children. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Timothy Glath Fund, c/o Mutual of Omaha, 1248 Bergen Parkway, Evergreen, CO, 80439.
