Hal also was a past president of the Jefferson County Insurance Association and past president of the Evergreen Board of Realtors, receiving Realtor of the Year honors in 1975.
Preceded in death in 1988 by his older son, Harold III, he is survived by Sue, his wife of 61 years, and by his son, Mark of Evergreen, and his grandsons, Ryan and Tyler, both of Evergreen.
