Patricia Marie Simpson was born in Denver, the oldest of five children of Harry and Mable Watt.
She graduated from West High School. She married her sweetheart, Robert Simpson, on Feb. 16, 1958, the first marriage at Christ the King Lutheran Church, where she was a charter member. Pat worked with Bob running their business, Simpson Construction, building homes. She also worked as a Realtor in the mountain area for several years. She enjoyed spending time with family and entertaining, always hosting the holidays. Pat and Bob enjoyed RV'ing, traveling all around the country. Most recently they went on cruises to Alaska and the Panama Canal.
She died at Collier Hospice at Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge on Nov. 13, after an 18-month battle with ovarian cancer.
Pat is survived by husband Bob of Lakewood; children Cheryl (Buck) Cook of Highlands Ranch and Randy (Brenda) Simpson of Morrison; grandchildren Danielle (Zane) Ross, Dustin Cook and Benjamin Simpson. She is also survived by her two great-granddaughters, Madison Grace and Haley Marie Ross.
