Charles A. Perasso, known to many as Bob or Charlie, passed away in his beloved Evergreen home with his family by his side on the night of Monday, May 6, 2013, following a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

Bob was born in Union City, N.J., on April 21, 1928. He served in the Merchant Marine for a short time, before marrying Lois E. Berger. He later served as a sergeant in U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Bob and Lois were married for 62 years at the time of Bob's passing.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; their three children, Chris and Amy of Denver and Matt of Fort Lee, N.J.; and his granddaughter Ashton Schwarz.
Bob worked for New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. for more than 35 years before retiring to Evergreen, where he built a home and established firm roots in the community. Bob and Lois enjoyed traveling around the country with their RV and spending time with their many close friends. He will be greatly missed.
A private burial will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery the morning of Friday, May 10. Afterward, the family will hold a celebration of life ceremony at the Evergreen Mortuary and Memorial Park from noon to 4 p.m.
