Donald Doughtery

DOUGHERTY SR., DONALD D., a Pasadena resident for 60 years, passed away on March 16, 2013. Born August 25, 1927 in Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Dougherty was head of engineering for St Agnes Hospital for 40 years. He served in the Marines from 1945-1946, was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, member of VFW Post 160 and a Charter member of the Michael McGivney K of C Council 7025. He enjoyed camping, surf fishing in Ocean City. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Christina M. Dougherty (nee Newman); daughters Diana M. Westervelt and her husband Ron of Ft. Worth, Texas; Christina A. Jenkins and her husband Gene of Butler, Alabama; son Donald D. Dougherty Jr. and his wife Joy of Riviera Beach; brother Charles Dougherty and his wife Lois of Glen Burnie; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 3204 Mountain Road, Pasadena, Md. on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10 AM. Interment in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, Maryland.
