Hubert Arrington


Hubert "Dave" David Arrington, 87, of Ormond Beach, FL from 1998 and formerly of Colonial Beach, VA from 1986 and previously a 28-year resident of Hanover, died October 22 in Daytona Beach.
Born February 3, 1925 in Rocky Mount, VA, Dave was a World War II, United States Marine Corps Veteran who proudly served in
the Pacific Region, was honorably discharged in 1947, returned to service in Nagasaki, Japan and honorably discharged in 1953. He was a guard at Dahlgren Testing in Dahlgren, VA, then drove a new car carrier for 34 years.
He was preceded in death by his six brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl, (Rowley); two sons, Tim Arrington of Ormond Beach and David Arrington, Sr. of Deale; three daughters, Sharon Fox of Collierville, Tennessee, Sandy Grabowski (Dave) of Elkridge, and Donna Isom (Stu) of Ormond Beach; ten grandchildren, Chrissy Whipps, John Baker, III, Ariel Keen, Jessica Isom, David Arrington, Jr., Andy Isom, Matt Baker, Landon Fox, Allison Isom, Kristy Arrington; and six great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Smith, Corbin Lowry-Baker, Tanner Keen, Ethan Baker, Tori Arrington and Ainsley Keen.
A service will be held 1 p.m., November 9 at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge. A family gathering will be held after at VFW Post 8097,7298 Montevideo Road, Jessup.
