Jean Dibbell

Jean F. Dibbell, 78, an 8-year resident of Pasadena and formerly of Cranford NJ, died March 10 at Heart Home Assisted Living. Born September 26, 1935 in Chicago, IL to the late Stanley and Mary Ferguson, Mrs. Dibbell graduated from Redford Union High School in 1953, Michigan State in 1957, and she received her Masters of Social Work in 1966 from Rutgers University. She was employed as a school social worker in the Woodbridge Township of New Jersey for over 30 years, retiring in the early 2000's. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dibbell is preceded in death by her sister Mary DalPian. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth L. Myers and her husband Bruce of Pasadena. A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church 7859 Tick Neck Rd., Pasadena. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
