John Odell Jr.

ODELL JR., JOHN (JACK) TURNER, 80, passed away on Friday January 18th. Born in Philadelphia to John T. Odell and Louise Kerrigan Odell in 1932. The son to owner of the General Wayne Inn, he graduated from LaSalle, served four years in the U.S. Air Force, Air War College, and Elks Member. Decorated Senior Executive Manager for a government agency where he served for 30 years. He enjoyed lacrosse, fishing, skeet shooting, sports and being with family. He was preceded in death by his son Robert K. Odell, and survived by Peg Odell, his three children, John Odell, Tim Odell and Kathy Odell-Saladin, and his granddaughter, Jessica Odell, and grandsons, Andrew Odell, Robert Odell and Connor Saladin. Viewing service will be Thursday, January 24 from 4-7 at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment on Monday, January 28th at 10:45 a.m., at MD Veterans Cemetery, in Crownsville, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project www.woundedwarriorproject.org. Jack will be dearly missed.
