Lloyd Millsap

Lloyd Frank Millsap Sr., 86, a 58-year resident of Pasadena, died June 11 at Assisted Living Well in Millersville. Born October 5, 1926 in Oakland, CA to the late George F. and Sadie Millsap, Mr. Millsap was raised in California and later moved to Baltimore. He served in the Merchant Marines from 1944 until 1948 and was a World War II Veteran. He worked as a supervisor with Kennecott Copper Corporation, retiring in 1983 after 24 years of service. Mr. Millsap was a member of the Orchard Beach Volunteer Fire Department where he served as Past President in the early 60's, the American Legion Post #277, Magothy and Stoney Creek Seniors, President of the Pig Skin Club which became the Buccaneers, the Northeast Sr. High Booster Club, and a life member of the Stoney Creek Democratic Club where he served on the Board of Directors and called bingo. His hobbies included golf, traveling, and dancing. Mr. Millsap is preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Marion E. Millsap, and his daughter Judy Floyd. He is survived by his two sons, L. Frank Millsap Jr. of Orchard Beach and Joe Millsap of Pasadena; three daughters, Carolyn Krantz of Eldersburg, Kathy Pfiffer of Queenstown, and Mary Lynn Sykes of Orchard Beach; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
