Marguerite Adie

Marguerite Adie, "Peggy", 83, a resident of Anne Arundel County for 15 years and previously of Long Island, N.Y., died February 10 at Heart Homes in Linthicum after a long illness.

She was born in 1927, in Huron, S.D., to the late Harry F. Devers and Kathryn Jones Devers. She graduated high school, trained as a hairdresser and later taught hair dressing at the Wilfred Academy on Long Island, N.Y. An avid Sinatra fan and animal lover, she enjoyed solving crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Adie Jr.

She is survived by two children, Michael Adie, and Michele Haberman and husband Michael; and two grandsons, Daniel and Samuel Haberman.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 27 at Heart Homes at Linthicum, 806 Camp Meade Rod.
