Sandra Bunker

Sandra "Sandy" A. Bunker, 59, of Sharpsburg, and formerly of Arnold, died peacefully November 4, at her home, after a courageous battle with brain cancer.
Born on October 3, 1953, in Annapolis, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Pauline (Crider) Funkhouser.
Sandy was a 1971 graduate of Severna Park Senior High School. She worked for thirty eight years for the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Research Analyst Supervisor.
A member of Victory Baptist Church in Boonsboro, she was a former Sunday School Teacher and sang in the choir.
In her spare time, Sandy enjoyed scouting, camping, horseback riding, hiking, biking, and, most importantly, she loved being with her second family, her church family.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Daniel L. Bunker, of Sharpsburg; and a son, William "Billy" Bunker, also of Sharpsburg.
A Celebration of Sandy's Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, at the Victory Baptist Church, 8014 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Rev. Edward J. Wade will officiate.
