Susan O'Connor

Susan Mary O'Connor, 56, a 22-year resident of Upper Marlboro, died September 7 at her home.
Born January 20, 1956 in Cheverly, Susan received a Master's in Hospital Administration from George Washington University and a BS in Nursing from Bowie State. She was an Administrative Director of the Breast Center of Anne Arundel Medical Center. Susan was Past President of the Washington, DC Oncology Nursing Society and a member of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church of Bowie. She was an avid reader.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Mullaney; and sister, Kathleen Robrback.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas F. O'Connor; two sons, Thomas F. O'Connor IV and wife Megan, and Joseph P. O'Connor and fiance Natalie Gignac; mother, Lorraine Mullaney; two brothers, Michael Mullaney and Gary Mullaney; two sisters, Karen Rockhill and Diane Rodichok; and three grandchildren, Faith Isabelle O'Connor, Joseph Douglas O'Connor and Luke Thomas O'Connor.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, September 13 at Hardesty Funeral Home, P.A., 12 Ridgely Ave., Annapolis. Funeral will be 10 a.m., Friday, September 14 at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 1940 Mitchellville Road, Bowie. Interment private.
