Craig Gomez

Craig M. Gomez, 58, a resident of Annapolis, died May 13 at his home. He was born on May 26, 1954 in Albuquerque, NM, and grew up around Andrews Air Force Base, and later was raised in Cape St. Claire. Craig graduated from University of Maryland and worked as an electrical engineer for Ciena Corporation. Craig was an accomplished musician, playing the guitar, enjoyed sailing, and was a family man. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria A. Gomez, who died August 21, 2012. Craig is survived by his father, Col. Raymond V. Gomez, USAF Ret. of Annapolis; his daughters, Marisa Ann Gomez of Sterling, VA and Carina L. Gomez of Delaware; and his brother, Keith J. Gomez of Alexandria, VA. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 17, at Lakemont Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 900 West Central Ave., Davidsonville. Arrangements made by Barranco & Sons, P.A.
