Charles Stokes Kolodziejski, 85, a resident of Carvel Beach, died February 21 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He was born on November 4, 1927, in Baltimore, to the late Catherine and Stanislaus Kolodziejski. After high school, he entered the U.S. Army, serving in the military police until 1947. For 39 years he worked as a supervisor for FMC Chemicals Company and served for 11 years in the Maryland House of Delegates. A member of the Stoney Creek Democratic Club, where he spent multiple years as its President and Chairman of the Board, he enjoyed politics, collecting coins, playing cards, and sports, particularly thoroughbred horse racing. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Georgia Kolodziejski; four sons, Alvin and his wife Faith of Cape Cod, Robert and his wife Linda of Florida, Thomas and his wife Patty of Pasadena, and Paul and his wife Sue, also of Pasadena; daughter, Barbara Swetnam and her husband Joseph of North Carolina; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchil-dren. Family invites friends to visit from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday, at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena. His funeral service will commence Noon, Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow, with honors, in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville.
