Dennis Daniel

DANIEL, DENNIS SCOTT, 67, passed away on January 12, 2013 at Anne Arundel Medical Center due to complications from the flu. Scott grew up in Hawaii and graduated from the University of Hawaii with a degree in Anthropology. He was an author, experienced diver, sailor and navigator. He made several ocean passages to and from destinations such as Tahiti, Guam, Okinawa and Japan. Scott retired after a 25 year career with the CIA, during which time he was posted to the Middle East and East Asia. Scott was a wonderful cook and loved to entertain. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. Most recently Scott enjoyed sailing with friends and exploring the waters of the Chesapeake Bay. He is a founding member of the Marianas Yacht Club in Guam and a member of the Waikiki Yacht Club and the Maryland Yacht Club. Scott is survived by his wife Sally, of Pasadena, his son Ben, who lives in Los Angeles and his brother Brian, in Hawaii. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
