Jack Jordan, 75, died October 6 at home in Fort Myers, FL of cancer. Born July 9, 1938 in LaFollette, Tennessee, to the late Vurl and Rose Jordan, Jack graduated from Glen Burnie High School class of 1956. He served in the U.S. Navy submarine service and was discharged from active duty in 1961. He returned to work in the family business V. Jordan Lumber Co on Baltimore & Annapolis Blvd in Glen Burnie and continued to serve in the Naval Reserves. Upon his move to Florida, Jack was manager and president of the family business, Swan Lake Mobile Home Village in North Fort Myers, Fl. Jack was a member of the Marley Park Church of the Nazarene, renamed Grace Pointe Community, which relocated to Severn. He attended First Church of the Nazarene in Fort Myers, Florida. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Jordan. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, June Cline Jordan; three children, Steven (Michelle) of Fort Myers, Kent (Denise) Jordan of Churchville, and Tara (Michael) Clark of Elkridge; sister, Carolyn Bowers of Westminster;11 grandchildren, Christina Jordan Harris (Jamie), Christopher (Ashley) Jordan, Courtney Glick, Weston, Elise, Dalton and Wyatt Jordan, Kendyll and Kelsie Clark, Rik and Bethani Cramer; great- grandson, Josiah Jordan, and numerous nephews and nieces. Interment will be in the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens with a military ceremony and internment in the Field of Honor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the choirs of Grace Point Community Church in Severn, Maryland or First Church of the Nazarene in Fort Myers, Florida.
