Lorraine Weberski Obituary

Lorraine B. Weberski, 85, of Arnold, died May 13, in Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis. Mrs. Weberski was born in Oak Park, IL on July 17,1927 to Bill and Viola (Lacy) Lavin. She married John "Jack" Weberski on June 11,1966 in Ottawa, IL. Mrs Weberski worked at Borg Warner in Ottawa. After leaving Ottawa, she and her husband lived in Joliet, IL for several years before settling in Arnold for John's work in Washington, DC. Lorraine was a charter member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Arnold. She was preceded in death by one grandson; sister, Elaine; nephew, Brandon Begaska; and step-grandson, Patrick Weberski. Mrs. Weberski is survived by her husband of 47 years; daughter, Sharon Ford of Schaumburg, IL; two step-daughters, Jeanne Rett of Olympia, WA and Barbara (James) Faletti of Spring Valley, IL; four step-sons, John M. (Nancy) Weberski of LaSalle, IL, David (Cindy) Weberski of Spring Valley, IL, Michael (Jane) Weberski of Spring Valley, IL and Steven (Andrea) Weberski of Peru, IL. Mrs Weberski is also survived by ten step-grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, in the Hurst Funeral Home in LaSalle, IL with Rev. Timothy Kenyon, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Peru, IL officiating. Burial will be in St. Vincent's Cemetery in LaSalle, IL. The Hurst Funeral Home in LaSalle, IL is handling arrangements for the family.

Mom, I love you and you will always be in my heart. I miss you already.
Jack, please take some solace in the fact that you gave my mother a better life than she ever had, but one she deserved. You loved and respected her. I truly believe that your caring ways added years to her life, that, without you, she would not have enjoyed.
