Norma Laverty Obituary

Norma Laverty of Annapolis, MD, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2014. She was born on August 18, 1925 and grew up in Maine. She is survived and so well loved by her children, Linda Armstrong and Steve, Susan Lowen and Martin, and grandchildren Thomas and wife Nadege, Matthew, Michael, and Evelyn. Norma was an avid reader, played bridge, and enjoyed gardening and flower arranging. She worked for more than 20 years preparing income taxes and loved the challenge of a busy tax season. Norma and John were wonderful company and supporters of our music for years. They even came on a Schooner Fare Caribbean cruise with us. Their good will and good soul will always be appreciated.

Dearest Susie, Linda and your families,
I was so sad to hear of Norma's passing. She was so full of life and loved by all. I can hear her saying "I love you darling" (for her it was pronounced "dolin") Every time I saw her, she always made me feel so loved. From going to Laurel all those years with Grammie Soule, to seeing her in Maine, I always felt so much joy. The memories that I have of Norma and John are priceless and will stay in my heart forever. John and Norma are together now sharing a tune in heaven. Love to you all and I will keep you in my prayers and hopefully talk soon. Love you.
