Mary "Kitty" Kathryn Echard, 86, a 54-year resident of Annapolis, died March 26 in Annapolis. She was born December 28, 1927 in Annapolis. Kitty attended Bucknell University in Pennsylvania where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and English, and was a member of the Tri-Delta Sorority. She worked as Supervisor for the State of Maryland Social Services. Her hobbies included vegetable gardening and flowers, reading, and an interest in wildlife and nature. Kitty was preceded in death by her son, William Bruce Echard; her daughter, Catherine Gail Snyder; a brother, William Clemens; and sister, Rita Staley. She is survived by her son, Richard M. Echard of Miami, FL; a brother, Robert A. Clemens of Annapolis; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial Gathering with a viewing for family and friends from 5 to 8 p.m., with a Family Eulogy at 7 p.m., on Monday, March 31, in the John M. Taylor Funeral Home, Inc. 147 Duke of Gloucester St, Annapolis (21401).
