KNIGHT, THOMAS JAMES, 72, of Glen Burnie passed away on April 22, 2014. Thomas was born in 1941 in Baltimore, MD. He graduated from City College in 1959. Thomas was employed with Legg Mason as a Financial Advisor in margins. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Brooklyn for 50 years and eventually an ordained Deacon, and thereafter was a Deacon at Faith Baptist Church. Thomas was a member of the Masons Glen Burnie Lodge #213. He enjoyed traveling, reading the bible, participating in the church choir, sports, and volunteering for the card ministry at church, where he wrote numerous cards to parishioners. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Antoinette "Toni" Knight; four sisters, Annalou Files, Ruth Snowden, Helen Davis and Florence Knight; sister-in-law, Veronica B. Adamski; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. S.W. (at Crain Hwy) on Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, April 28th, 11:30 AM, at Faith Baptist Church. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a memorial fund in Thomas' name at Faith Baptist Church, 7378 E. Furnace Branch Road, Glen Burnie, MD 21060.
