John "Jack" C. Marsteller, 81, resident of Severna Park, died May 4. He was born September 22, 1932 in Maryland to the late Irving and Selma Marsteller. After graduating from Glen Burnie High School, he served in the U.S. Army during the Kore- an War. He first owned an excavating company followed by a motel in both Ocean City and Fort Lauderdale, FL. He then owned Pool World of Maryland, located in Millersville. Finally building and operating Camelot on the Bay, a motel in Key Largo, FL. Jack enjoyed many outdoor activities such as boating, fishing and crabbing, hunting with his Dad and uncles, and golfing. He is survived by his loving wife, Jayne; three children, Jackie and husband Greg Gosewisch, Laurie and husband David Straley, and Scott Marsteller; five step children, Liz and husband Joe Bacon, Pam and husband Fred Rex, Sally and husband Mike Stevens, John and wife Alix Rickloff and Tom and wife Marcy Rickloff; sister, Joyce and husband Ronald Zimmerman; five grandchildren Sean, Brian, Dustin, Carmen, and Brittnay; nine step grandchildren, Michael, Paul, Brian, Eric, Lindsey, Georgia, Anna, Thomas, and Matt; and great-granddaughter, Sophia. Friends and family may visit from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 8, at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the , 1041 Route 3 North, Building A, Gambrills MD 21054. A memorial service for family will be held at a future date.
