Lorraine M. Gallagher, 86, a 30-year resident of South Portland, ME and previously of Lewiston, ME, died May 10 in Annapolis. Born February 5, 1928, Lorraine attended high school in Lewiston, ME and later worked as a legal secretary in South Portland, ME. She was a member of St. John Neumann's Catholic Church. She was an artist who enjoyed painting. Lorriane was preceded in death by her former spouse, Arthur LaFontaine, whom she married in 1950 and who died October 1981. Lorraine is survived by her husband, William F. Gallagher, whom she married November 6, 1993; two sons, James LaFontaine of Gray, ME and Marc La Fontaine of South Portland, ME; daughter, Lisa Stiffler of Standish, ME; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her extended family, Tom and Cindi Gallagher of Severna Park, Roger and Judy Gruel of Clarksville, John and Cathy Gallagher of Bowie, and their families. Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 15 at St. John Neumann's Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Rd., Annapolis. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to:
