Helen Josephine Higuera, 24, a lifelong resident of Annapolis, died May 26 in Annapolis. Born November 9, 1989 in Annapolis, she was a 2007 graduate of Archbishop Spalding High School, where she finished first in her graduating class. Helen earned a BA in History from Stanford University in 2011; a MBA in Change Management from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration in 2012; and was currently enrolled as a student at Georgetown University Law School. In addition, she was tutoring ESL classes at St. Mary's. Helen is survived by her parents, Henry and Marilyn Higuera of Annapolis; her brother, Adam Higuera of Boulder, CO; and her grandmother, Maria Elena Higuera of Evanston, IL. A memorial gathering will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, at Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Rd., Annapolis. Inurnment Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Annapolis.
