COLEMAN, GENEVA LITTLE, age 90, passed peacefully at home with loved ones in Annapolis Saturday May 24, 2014. Born in Los Angeles March 19, 1924, Geneva graduated from Roosevelt High School in Honolulu, and married decorated Naval aviator George Coleman in 1943 in San Diego. Navy tours took them to Virginia, Maryland, Florida, Washington, California, and Hawaii before they settled in the Heritage Harbor retirement community in 1988. A dedicated mother to her boys and a doting grandmother, Geneva also loved bridge, birds, gardening, travel, and her cats. Geneva is survived by her four sons: James Michael Coleman of Fairfax County, Va., twins Richard Clark Coleman of Alexandria, Va. and Robert Bruce Coleman of Lafayette, Cal., and George Steven Coleman of Severna Park, Md. Also, grandchildren Gerald S. Coleman, Ruth A. Elkins, Susan E. Allen, Kirsten S. Coleman, Amanda J. Coleman, Daniel S. Coleman; great grandchildren Sarah E. Allen, Skylar Allen, James Elkins, Kevin Coleman and Brian Coleman; and her very devoted companion Larry Stotsbery. Geneva will be buried with husband George, who was laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors in 2006. A Memorial Service will be held at Severna Park United Methodist Church, 731 Benfield Road, Severna Park, MD 21146 on Friday June 6, 2014 at 11 AM.
