Frances V. Bunch, 76, an eight-month resident of Harwood and previously of Cudjoe Key, FL, died June 6 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born August 9, 1937 to the late Lena and William Lackey, Frances was a cashier for Safeway and retired after 23 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing, playing board games and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Warren Bunch; son, Eddie "Bones" Bunch ; and daughter, Kelly Bunch. Frances is survived by two sons, Randy Bunch of Edgewater and Jerry (Betty) Bunch of Edgewater; daughter, Mary (Billy) Ford of Harwood; sister, Judy Magargel of N.C.; two grandsons, Shane and Dustin Bunch of Edgewater; seven granddaughters, Amy Bunch-Jones of Edgewater, Sarah Bunch of Fruitland, Amanda Foster of Edgewater, Elizabeth Ford of Edgewater, Anna Bunch of Kent Island, Casey O'Brien of Dagsboro, DE and Jessica Ford of Harwood; two great-grandchildren, Noah LaGrosa of Kent Island and Connor Jones of Edgewater. Friends are invited to her public visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 10, at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 11, at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
