Sharon A. Sears, 70, a lifelong resident of Annapolis, died June 10 at Anne Arundel Medical Center of emphysema. She was born November 2, 1943 in Annapolis, and worked for Wilkins Clothing for 10 years. Sharon also worked for International Paper for 10 years. She was a member of Ladies of the Elks #622, and Ladies of VFW Post 304. Her hobbies included cooking, gardening, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren. Sharon is survived by her husband, James S. Sears Sr., whom she married in May 1961; her sons, James S. Sears Jr. (wife Carol) of Millersville, and Dougie Sears (wife Tina) of Annapolis; brothers, Billy Tolson of Grasonville and Jimmy Tolson of Oklahoma; sister, Debbie Tolson of Bowie; grandchildren, Norman D. Sears Jr., Crystal Sears, Katie Sears, and Bubba Sears; and great-grandchildren, Gerard Greene, Isaiah Greene, Caitlyn Sears, and Bryson Sears. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, at Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, where a funeral will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, June 16.
