Joseph P. Connor, 90, formerly of Annapolis, died June 11 of sepsis and cardiovascular disease at the Veteran's Administration Hospital, in Washington, D.C. Born April 24, 1924, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mr. Connor lived in Annapolis for over 30 years before moving to the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Washington, DC. He retired from the U.S.A.F. with the rank of Master Sergeant. He served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II in the Pacific Theater and with the U.S.A.F. during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret L. Connor. His survivors include one daughter, Patricia A. Rodowsky of Annapolis; brother, Eugene B. Connor of New Albany, PA; sister, Ann Taylor of Maple Shade, NJ; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. At his request, formal services will not be held, but he can be remembered in prayers and through Mass intentions. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
