Cecelia Catherine Schreiber, "Celie," 90, a resident of Pasadena for 59 years, and previously of Locust Point, died on July 17 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center after suffering complications from surgery. She was born on February 1, 1924, in Baltimore, to the late Viola and Stanley Godlewski. After attending Southern High School, she worked as a purchasing agent for the Westinghouse Company for 32 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling, cooking, country music, her dog Lucy, and taking care of her family. Celie is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Vernon Schreiber; her two sons, Dennis Schreiber, of St. Mary's County, and Rick Schreiber and his wife, Gale, of Pasadena; her granddaughter, Rana Smith and her husband, Tim, and great-grandson, Dax Arthur Smith, all of Pasadena; and her sister-in-law, Helen Godlewski, of Severn. Funeral services were held on Monday. Interment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
