Vincent "Jerry" Quigley, of Ginger Cove, Annapolis, passed away peacefully after a prolonged illness on August 11, 2014 at 79 years of age. Jerry was born and raised in Hewlett, New York, the youngest of three children born to Michael and Kathleen Quigley. Jerry moved to Cherry Hill, New Jersey with his family in 1963, and later relocated to Annapolis, Maryland, where he enjoyed the remainder of his life. He was predeceased by his wife, Rosemarie "Rhea" Rice of Annapolis in 2006. Jerry is survived by his sons, Capt. Kevin Quigley USCG (ret.) and his wife Debbie of Chesapeake, Virginia, Vincent "Jerry" Quigley Jr. and his wife Gina of Staten Island, New York, and Bryan Quigley of East Windsor, New Jersey; grandchildren Danielle Hayden and her husband Brent, Megan Quigley, Mark Quigley, Samantha Quigley, and Jack Quigley. The family would like to thank the medical and activities staffs at Ginger Cove, and his close friends for the wonderful care and companionship they provided to Jerry in the last years of his life. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to Eden Autism Services Foundation, 2 Merwick Road, Princeton, NJ 08540, earmarked for "Adult Services".
