Daniel Patrick Ernst, a lifelong resident of Pasadena, died February 20 at his residence.
He was born May 2, 1986, in Michigan, to Pat Ernst "Spiceman" and Neysa P. Ernst (nee McHugh). He worked as a server at Bonefish and helped his father with the family business, Moving Flavors. He was a member of St. Jane Frances Church and worked with many charities with the Chefs Association. He enjoyed cars, the Ravens, lifting weights and fixing things.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepbrother, Ford St. John Gaitley of Pasadena; and grandparents, Glenn and Barbara Ernst of Michigan, and Doris McHugh of Pennsylvania.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 25 at the family-owned and operated McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, P.A., 3204 Mountain Road, Pasadena, where family and friends will gather from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 26 and proceed to St. Jane Frances Church for a Mass at 12 noon.
