Robert Ebberts Obituary

EBBERTS, ROBERT R. On January 25, 2014, Mr. Robert R. Ebberts, passed away peacefully at his home in Glen Burnie, MD with his family at his side. Mr. Ebberts was born in Baltimore, MD on February 28, 1930 to William and Lollie Ebberts. Robert was a proud veteran and served our country during the Korean era in the U.S.M.C. He worked at Banner Glass Co. in the sales department and worked his way up to Vice President. Mr. Ebberts belonged to the Masonic Lodge, Tall Cedars, Boumi Temple Shriners, U.S.M.C. League, Elks Lodge, and American Legion. He loved to socialize and focused on making the community better. Mr. Ebberts is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joanne Ebberts. He is also survived by his daughters, Kathleen S. Kane and Robin R. Camponeschi, and her husband Gary, his grandchildren; Jason Brooks, Sr., John Kane, Jr., Rebecca Kane, and Laura Kane, 12 great grandchildren, and his brother Walter H. Ebberts. The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Avenue SW (at Crain Highway) on Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, at 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name, may be made to the, Boumi Temple Transportation Fund, Boumi Temple, 5050 King Ave, Baltimore, MD 21237.
