Shilling, Ruby Weller  
Ruby Weller Shilling, 97, of Westminster Ridge, died peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at the Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster. She was born May 17, 1917, in New Windsor to the late Joseph Herbert Weller and Helen Bange Weller. Her husband Richard L. Shilling of Westminster died March 13, 1992. She was a secretary for the Carroll County School Board before moving to Florida and retired as a secretary and accountant for the Seminole City School Board in Florida. She was a long time member of Carrollton Church of God, serving with her husband in the music ministry and teacher. She was a member of the Crossroads Community Church, Westminster. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, R. Edward and Doris Shilling of Westminster, daughter Sandra J. Davis of Deland, Florida, as well as18 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Joseph L. Shilling, a daughter Jane S. Dinterman, a sister DeChountol Lemon, and brothers Herbert E. and Richard E. Weller. Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Crossroads Community Church, 895 Leidy Rd., Westminster, MD 21157, with Pastor Reid Robinette officiating. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Private interment will be held at Carrollton Church of God Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Community Church at the above address. Arrangements by Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services in Westminster.
