Goodman, M. Louella  
Mary Louella Goodman, age 75, of Manchester, passed away peacefully with her family by her side from cancer, Saturday, August 22, 2015 at her home. She was born August 14, 1940 in Marietta, SC, she was the daughter of the late Willie Hart and Blanche Laws Hart. She was the wife of P. Frank Goodman, her husband of 53 years. She was a 1958 graduate of Franklin High School, where she returned to in 1960 and worked as the secretary in the guidance office for 29 years, retiring in 1989. In her spare time, she enjoyed lunch with friends especially the Franklin retirees' lunches. Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughters Kimberly Markle Vaughan and husband Stephen of North Port, FL and Melissa Munk and Robert Munk of Hampstead; her most beloved grandchildren Rebecca and Nate Martin of Geneva, NY, Jessica Markle and Jackson Munk both of Hampstead; great grand-daughter, Brenna Mae Martin of Geneva, NY; and her siblings, Virginia McClain of Greenville, SC and George Hart of Hanover, PA. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Hart. The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. with the Rev. LaDonna Thomas officiating. If desired, memorial contributions may be sent to St. David's Lutheran Church, Attention: Building Fund, 1032 Musselman Road, Hanover, PA 17331. Graham Dupel, Donna Jean  
Donna Jean Graham Dupel 51, of Westminster, MD passed away August 24, 2015 into eternal rest at Carroll Hospital Center. Born October 22, 1964, she was the beloved daughter of the late Charles C. Graham who predeceased her June 2014 and mother Janice L. Graham of Hampstead. She is survived by her mother, son Collin Graham Dupel, daughter Leah Marie Dupel,brothers Charles Jr., William Joseph and wife Barbara, sister Lori Goodhart and husband Michael. Nephews Charles III, Cory and wife April, nieces Christina and Amanda. Great nephew Andrew and great niece Lynn. Step nephew Ryan and step great niece Allie. Donna was a true lover of her family and got great pleasure with all times spent with her loved ones. She was truly blessed with love. It was Donna wishes to be cremated with no formal services at this time. A memory service will be held Saturday August 29, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the Graham homestead in Hampstead, MD for family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Carroll Hospice Center 292 Stoner Avenue Westminster, MD 21157 or Carroll Hospital Center, 200 Memorial Avenue Westminster, MD 21157. Grinder, Betty  
Mrs. Betty Jean Grinder, 86, of Walkersville and formerly of Union Bridge, died Monday, August 24, 2015 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore. Born January 20, 1929 in Ladiesburg, she was the daughter of the late Bennie Emanuel and Thelma Norris Frock. She was the wife of E. Richard "Dutch" Grinder, who died in 2007. Mrs. Grinder was employed at C&P Telephone Co., with 33 years of service, retiring in April, 1988. Following retirement she worked for several years at the Brethren Service Center, New Windsor and Expo Exchange of Frederick before her final retirement in 1999. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Union Bridge, the Pioneer Club of Westminster and the auxiliary of Littlestown Eagles Aerie 2226. She loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Emma and her granddog, Moxie. She was an avid reader, enjoyed water aerobics, traveling with her sisters on bus trips, volunteering with community activities, going to the beach with her family and being a part of the Victoria Park dinner group. Surviving are a daughter, Kim Crouch and husband John, of Walkersville; stepdaughter, Carol Ann Tighe of Union Bridge; 2 grandchildren, Edward and Emma Crouch; step granddaughter, Rachel Boone; 2 step great grandchildren, Summar and Bailey Quesenberry; 3 sisters, Gloria Staley, Patricia Wetzel and Jill Eyler, all of Walkersville, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a young sister, Doris Frock. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 29, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 6 E. Broadway, Union Bridge, with Rev. Richard L. Michael, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. At Betty's request, flowers are to be omitted. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. James Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 2, Union Bridge, MD 21791.

Grippi Jr., Nathan F.  
Nathan F. Grippi, Jr., 77 of Toms River, passed away at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 19, 2015. In addition to serving in the US Army Reserves for 5 years, Nathan was a paper manufacturer sales representative for several companies including Westvaco, Gentech, Indian Head, Minigrip, Illinois Tool Works, and Canover. He retired in 1999 after 42 years. His focus in life was his family whom he loved. He was a baseball coach and enjoyed watching ice hockey with his son who participated in the sport. He loved providing childcare for his grandchildren as well as traveling with family. Nathan was an avid sports fan especially for the Yankees and the Giants. Nathan was born and raised in New York City. He attended Baruch College, City College of New York earning his bachelors degree. He lived in Marlboro, NJ for 20 years before moving to Toms River in 2002, and was a communicant of St. John's Catholic Church of Lakehurst. Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Charlotte Nusbaum Grippi; daughter Karyn Grippi of Toms River; two sons, Gary Grippi of Toms River, Mark Grippi and Kitty Tang of Avondale, AZ; grandchildren, Shane, Sydney and Sienna Stolz, Ethan and Samantha Grippi; cousins Kenneth Garvey of Massapequa, NY, Mary Pat Jay and Robert Jay of Paramus, NJ. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Friday August 28 at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9 am Saturday August 29 at St. John's Catholic Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ. In Lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908, The Arthritis National Research Foundation, 200 Oceangate, Suite 830, Long Beach, CA 90802 or The Michael J.
