Bernard R. Ebberts

Bernard R. Ebberts, 76, of Randallstown, died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at Brightview Senior Living in Westminster.

Born Jan. 30, 1937, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Bernard O. Ebberts and Elaine Scott Adkins. He was the husband of Judith E. Mayne Ebberts, who died April 18, 2012.

He served in the Army and the National Guard. He was an electrician for IBEW Local No. 24 and held several titles as a business manager and president of the group.

He was a member of the Yankee Rebels Drum Corps and an avid sports fan. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. He was a member of the Church of the Open Door in Westminster, and was a man of deep faith.

Surviving are children April R. and husband Brian Rose, of Westminster, and Todd Ebberts, of Randallstown; and grandchildren Nicholas, Gabrielle, Hannah and Joshua Rose.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Norris E. Belcher Jr., of Church of the Open Door in Westminster, officiating. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Park with military honors.
